PRIVATE LESSONS
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY LESSONS?
Rhapsody Music primarily offers weekly year round lessons . Students are billed on the first of each month to cover each weekly lesson within that month.
WHAT IS YOUR PRICING FOR LESSONS?
Private lessons start at
$155 per month
for 30 minute weekly lessons, and
$290 per month for hour lessons,
regardless of instrument or experience. Additive family discounts are available for families with multiple students in lessons.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE A LESSON OR NEED TO CANCEL?
Life happens, we get it. In the event of a cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule that lesson, but it is not guaranteed. Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance or with no notification at all are not eligible for rescheduling.
Rhapsody Music reserves the right to make exceptions to this cancelled lesson procedure.
HOW DO I RESCHEDULE A LESSON?
Parents and students may reschedule lessons through their
TeacherZone
account or by calling the Front Desk at
(623) 465-7060.
If you don't know your TeacherZone username and/or password, call the Front Desk for your login information.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY INSTRUCTOR ISN'T AVAILABLE?
Life happens to our instructors as well. In event that your instructor is unable to make your lesson, Rhapsody Music will make every effort to reschedule the lesson at the student’s convenience.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY LESSONS?
We would hate to see you go, but if you need to cancel your ongoing lessons, you can cancel at any time. First, please let the Front Desk know. All future lessons will be cancelled, and any paid for lessons that were not scheduled will be banked to your account for future scheduling.
PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE PROGRAM
HOW DO I GET IN A PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE?
Getting started is as easy as letting a Front Desk member know you are interested! You will be asked to fill out an interest form with basic information such as your instrument, skill level, and availability. Based on that information, you will be placed in a band at the start of the next performance session.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE QUITS MY BAND?
Sometimes people do leave a band. But it's okay. We will attempt to find new members to replace them or, if time is tight, an instructor will take that spot to ensure your gig is still as great as it can be.
HOW LONG IS EACH PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE SESSION?
Rhapsody Music offers 2 annual 15-week sessions, with a concert performance at the end of each session. Sessions typically run each Spring and Fall. Additional, shorter Performance Ensemble sessions are available in the Summer or Winter.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE IN A PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE?
Please visit our full, detailed Performance Ensemble page by clicking here for further details and costs per session.
RENTALS
HOW DO I RENT AN INSTRUMENT WITH RHAPSODY?
Just stop in during our normal store hours and let a Front Desk member know what instrument you are interested in renting. You will be asked to fill out paperwork and make a payment for the first month of rental before the instrument can leave the store.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY INSTRUMENT RENTAL?
Your card will be kept on file and charged each month for the agreed upon fee.
IS THERE DAMAGE PROTECTION FOR MY RENTAL?
Every rentable instrument's monthly fee includes a mandatory $7 damage protection fee. This will cover you for all normal wear and tear the instrument is expected to experience in the hands of a student.
Catastrophic damage or complete loss of a rental instrument is NOT covered by the damage protection fee. In this event, the renter will be responsible for the full agreed upon replacement value of the instrument.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY INSTRUMENT RENTAL?
Unlike many stores, you can cancel with Rhapsody Music at any time. Simply bring in your instrument where it will be inspected. Once cleared, we will cancel all upcoming charges.
Please note that there are no refunds offered if a rental is ended mid-month. It is the renters responsibility to return the instrument prior to the next recurring billing date.
